Angel - By Richie Dusett
The rain trickles on the window pane outside
The dark room, the musty smell inside
Pen in hand, he doesn't know where to start
How to put in words, something so perfect
He scratches something down, but has no place to begin.
Crosses out, starts again; nothing seems to convey what he wants to say.
There are no words to explain how he feels
He looks at her, she smiles back,
The faint I love you's becoming clearer.
At this moment he is happy, the whole world around him stops
He picks up his pen, he knows what to write
"To my dear angel, you are forever mine tonight."
